Louisiana isn’t known for our sweeping mountain views, but what we lack in peaks and valleys, we make up for in bayous and swamp scenes. However, there’s one particular hike that you wouldn’t expect to find in Louisiana, and it leads to a truly unforgettable destination.
It was named after James Christopher Driskill, who owned 324 acres, including Driskill Mountain and the surrounding area, during the 1850s.
There are signs directing you to the trail and the trail itself is very easy to follow.
