One of our state's mascots, you don't quite 'get it' in Louisiana if you haven't come face to face with a gator at least once.
5. La Cathédrale St-Jean, Lafayette, LA
The rich cajun cultural legacy that has had an incredible impact on the character of Louisiana has its roots in Catholicism, and the beautiful churches that populate these towns serve as a consistent reminder of that legacy.
6. Intercoastal Waterway, Southwest Louisiana
The heartland of Louisiana, the gorgeous marshes in Cameron and Calcasieu parishes offer so much amazing bounty
