I know there are some special playgrounds in America, but I feel pretty certain that the Storyland playground in City Park New Orleans is one of the absolute best. If you haven’t visited here with the young people in your life, we think you should probably make some plans as soon as you can. You will be so glad that you did!

This beautiful park is one of the most lovely places in all of New Orleans, and can be found in City Park next to the Botanical Gardens on Victory Ave.

The park was formerly known as the singing playground, and visitors would receive a key to hear the characters depicted here telling their stories in songs.
Throughout the park there are storybook characters from all of your most beloved nursery rhymes.

This gives kids the opportunity to get up close and personal with all of their favorites they have been hearing about.
The gorgeous oak trees that are found in the park are also a feature here, and you'll find characters decorating the area.

I remember visiting this park as a child and really believing that the characters were real. The way they have designed the park here makes it easy to feel like you are traveling to a totally different world.
