Churches, historic homes, boutiques and restaurants are all just waiting for you to explore.

Although a fire destroyed the antebellum mansion in 1963, the Trimble family began restoring the grounds in 1972. Today, the 20 acres of formal gardens are among the most picturesque in the state.

There are several plantations in the area that are available for tours.

Known as the most haunted plantation in the country, there are allegedly several spirits who roam the grounds. Take a tour and learn more about the history of this famous planation, or if you really want an adventure, stay the night.

Cat Island NWR and Clark Creek WMA Tunica Hills are both within 30 minutes of St. Francisville and both offer great hiking, fishing, and hunting opportunities.
