Toledo Bend Lake is one of the countries largest man-made reservoirs. It’s 65 miles long, so large there’s two state parks to cover it (North and South Toledo Bend State Park). Spending a day on the water at Toledo Bend is always a good idea.

Located in Kisatchie National Forest, Kisatchie Bayou is a great place to cool off after a leisurely walk through the trails. There are several sand banks along the water where you can sit back, relax, and enjoy the views.
