There are thousands of incredible hiking trails in Louisiana, but few can compare to the Tammany Trace. This converted rail trail runs for more than 30 miles through five different towns in St. Tammany Parish, with trailheads at each of the towns. Since it’s paved for pretty much the entire route, it’s excellent for bikes and rollerblades, and overall it’s just a fun way to zip from town to town. The Mandeville Trailhead is one of those stopping points along the trail, and there’s always something going on. Let’s check it out:
