When it comes to Cajun cuisine, boudin and cracklins are two of the major cornerstones. In Cajun Country, just about every restaurant, corner store, and gas station sells at least one of them, they’re the perfect road trip snack. There’s one Cajun general store in Louisiana that’s serving up some of the best boudin and cracklins you’ll ever have, and they’re worthy of a road trip. Let’s check it out:
Hebert’s is a humble little store that’s been a pitstop for folks driving through Cajun Country since 2000.
The original location opened in Opelousas in 2000. Since then, they’ve expanded to include locations in Henderson, Kinder, Breaux Bridge, as well as a second location in Opelousas.
Each location offers a unique collection of Cajun products to take your kitchen skills from good to great.
After one bite you'll be saying laissez les bon temps rouler!
Hebert’s will ship their homemade cracklins, so you can have them delivered to your front door whenever you’d like! Visit their website to learn more, and don’t forget to give them a follow on Facebook, too. If you’ve ever visited Hebert’s and tried the boudin or cracklins, let us know in the comments!
