There’s an incredible adventure park hiding in northwestern Louisiana that’s worth a road trip from any corner of the state. Part petting zoo and part adventure park, this amazing attraction offers something for everyone, and it’s great for families. For thrill seekers, there’s an epic safari adventure course that’s certainly one of a kind. Let’s check it out.
Welcome to Gators & Friends, an exotic petting zoo and adventure park that’s located in Greenwood, which is about 20 miles west of Shreveport, Louisiana.
The little ones will love getting to interact with more than 30 different types of exotic animals. You can feed them and pet them while you learn more about the importance of preserving their natural habitats.
The older kids will especially love the park’s newest addition: Go-Karts. These bad boys top out at over 35 mph and the 1,600-foot racetrack is filled with twists and turns to test even the most skilled driver. Challenge your friends to a race to see who will walk away with bragging rights.
After you’ve been soaring over the adventure park, get ready: the final 750 feet of the course will have you gliding over the alligator pond, filled with more than 150 live alligators! Are you brave enough to complete this incredible safari adventure course?
