When you think of white sandy beaches, Louisiana probably isn’t one of the first states that come to mind. Although we are a Gulf Coast state, we do lack the luxurious beaches that our neighbors to the east are known for. But that just means that the beaches we do have are even more special, and that’s certainly the case with Rutherford Beach, a hidden little beach along the Louisiana coast that’s perfect for finding seashells.
