4. Fertitta’s Delicatessen
Shreveport’s oldest family run restaurant has been a favorite among Shreveport locals since 1927. When you visit, you have to try their signature "muffy", a muffuletta with their unique twist. You can find them at 1124 Fairfield Ave, Shreveport, Louisiana 71101.

5. Grayson’s
You’ll find Grayson’s about 15 minutes outside of Natchitoches, in Clarence, Louisiana. This family-run restaurant has been in business since 1959 and they’ve mastered the art of BBQ. 7. Liz’s Where Y’at Diner

8. The Londoner
This locally owned restaurant specializes in authentic British cuisine in a family-friendly atmosphere. They’ve also got a massive burger challenge for those daring enough to take it. The Big Ben Challenge is a 4lb burger with four slices of cheddar, four slices of swiss, bacon, mushrooms, grilled onions, jalapenos, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, four fried eggs, all on a massive muffuletta bun.
