Louisiana hosts hundreds of festivals throughout the year, but this one might be the most unique festival in the entire state. Every year, the Renaissance Festival creates the magical city of Albright for six consecutive weeks of 16th-century fun that you simply have to see to believe. Mark your calendars – this family-friendly festival kicks off on November 2, 2019, and it’s worth a road trip from any corner of the state.
The Louisiana Renaissance Festival returns for its 20th year on November 2, and you’re not going to want to miss it.
Each year, the festival creates the magical city of Albright, a 16-acre town filled with hundreds of booths for shopping, 12 stages for live performances, and multiple vendors selling food.

It’s common for festival-goers to dress up, but you don’t have to.
Although after you see some of the costumes, you may be inspired to pop into one of the clothing shops and get yourself a period-piece outfit to slip into!

RenFest kicks off November 2nd and will run every weekend until December 8th.
