There are tacos, and then there are the tacos you’ll find at Parish Taceaux, one of the most unique Mexican restaurants in Louisiana. Filled with a menu full of Mexican specialties, you’ll have a hard time deciding what to get – everything just looks so good! And these aren’t your average tacos, these are taceauxs, and you won’t find anything like them anywhere else.
Editor’s note: Unfortunately, Parish Taceaux has closed, but you can learn about more great Louisiana restaurants at this page!
If you find yourself in downtown Shreveport with a hankering for a taco, pull into Parish Taceaux.
Funky and vibrant, the industrial atmosphere of Parish Taceaux is complimented with bold colors and an open dining room that's the perfect family-friendly atmosphere.
How about a spicy shrimp taco with Cajun-fried shrimp topped with chipotle aioli, lettuce, and a red pepper puree? Sounds delicious, right? Or maybe you’re more of a Korean BBQ taco person, with Bulgogi skirt steak, kimchi pickles, and a spicy house-made aioli to add a bit of a kick? Of course, you can always kick it old-school with the traditional ground beef tacos.
The avocado fries are a fan favorite, and the restaurant is always featuring something new you'll want to try - like the Texas Street Egg Rolls pictured above.
No Mexican meal would be complete without something refreshing to wash it down with.
Luckily, Parish Taceaux has an extensive cocktail menu featuring several tequila and mezcal options that pair perfectly with tacos.
For more information, including a full menu, be sure to check out the restaurant’s website, and don’t forget to give it a follow on Facebook so you never miss out on any of their specialty creations.
