Visit This Village In Louisiana For The Most Old-Fashioned Christmas
Natchitoches Christmas has been delighting visitors for almost a century, and it’s one of the top Christmas displays in the country. It draws thousands of visitors from all over the country every year, and once you see the displays in person, you’ll understand why.

It all began in 1927 when Max Burgdorf, the Superintendent of Utilities for the City of Natchitoches, decided to purchase enough Christmas lights to string along Front Street. 90 years later, it has grown to become one of the most dazzling displays in the state, drawing thousands of visitors to the Cane River Lake every year.

The festival continues until January 6, so you have plenty of time to go see it.
