For over a century, the po’boy has fed many a New Orleanian and tourist. This hearty sandwich is just one of our culinary claims to fame, and not all po’boys are created equal. It all starts with Leidenheimer bread, piled sky high with your choice of meat, and of course… dressed. There’s one funky restaurant that’s serving up some of the most unique po’boys in New Orleans, and you need to visit them. Let’s check it out.
The menu features something for even the pickiest of eaters. For starters, you can’t go wrong with their tempura fried cremini mushrooms. The housemade remoulade is so good you’ll want to lick the plate.

If you’re in the mood for something different, you’ve come to the right place.
Pictured above is their Danimal burger, which is topped with a fried egg, onion rings, bacon, and Sriracha Steen’s mayo. If you like burgers with a bit of a kick, this is one you need to try.
Combining two classic New Orleans dishes, this beast of a po’boy is stuffed full of fried Gulf oysters and topped with a heaping amount of their delicious Rockefeller sauce.

This debris-style roast beef po’boy is topped with fried pickles, provolone cheese, and their housemate horseradish cream sauce to give it an extra special kick. You’re going to need a stack of napkins to get through this one.
