If you haven't visited yet, there are three entrances to the park--one at Marigny and N. Peters St., which includes an elevator, this red bridge at Piety St. and Chartres St., and then a third entrance at the end of the park, off of Chartres between Bartholomew and Mazant.

Designers incorporated former docks and other warehouse areas to create a beautiful park.

Landscape architects took care to select plants native to New Orleans and Louisiana that were also attractive to butterflies and other wildlife. It makes for some truly beautiful greenery throughout the park.

It's also nearby NOCCA, so young art students often come here to sketch or enjoy the scenery.
