With the country in quarantine as we try to control the COVID-19 pandemic, local business is suffering. Now more than ever, it’s important to support local restaurants, and we’ve listed a handful of New Orleans restaurants that are open for delivery and pick-up. They may have a limited menu and business hours, but they are doing their best to provide their delicious dishes during this trying time.
Besides, there’s only so much cooking you can handle. So give the oven a break and support one of these local New Orleans restaurants serving up some of their signature dishes.
If you’re in the mood to sink your teeth into some delicious BBQ, head on over to the Central City BBQ Facebook page where you can stay up to date on where they’ll be serving brisket, pork, ribs and more. This week, they’ve been posted up at St. Catherine of Siena and also 1202 S. Rampart.
The folks at Cowbell on Oak Street are still happy to cook you that delicious burger you’re craving, so give them a call. They’ve limited their menu, but burgers, fish tacos, and their signature macaroni and cheese are just a few of the tasty items on the menu available to go.
You can still start your morning with creative donuts from the folks at District Donuts. They’ve limited their menu during this time, but they still offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner for delivery and carryout.
This local legend is offering both carry-out and delivery through D’Livery NOLA, so you can still pick up some of your favorite dishes like gumbo or a fried shrimp po’boy.
Craving a po’boy? Then give Liuzza’s by the Track a call. They will deliver to anyone in the Mid City area, but you can also order to-go and pick it up yourself.
The Sneaky Pickle just recently reopened after a devastating fire back in May, and they could use your love now more than ever. Their menu changes daily, so be sure to check out their Facebook page.
Red’s Chinese has some of the most unique and creative Chinese food in the city, and they’ve just expanded their delivery area during these quarantine times. Their cheeseburger fried rice is incredible!
