Welcome to Tickfaw State Park, an incredibly scenic state park in Livingston Parish, Louisiana.

The 1,200-acre state park is on the Louisiana Natural Areas Registry for its outstanding natural characteristics, an honor given to only about 100 spots in the state.
Nestled along the banks of the Tickfaw River, the park is home to several unique ecosystems.

A cypress/tupelo swamp, a bottomland hardwood forest, a mixed pine/hardwood forest and the Tickfaw River all make for a perfect paradise for countless native plants and animals.
The best way to see the park is by walking the trails.
