3. Experience New Orleans through an artist’s eyes at JAMNOLA
If you want to experience New Orleans like never before, visit JAMNOLA. This colorful pop-up art installation showcases the work of over 20 local artists who have created a NOLA-centric space celebrating all things New Orleans through joy, art, and music.
Enjoy a brief but beautiful boat ride across the Mighty Mississippi before being dropped off at New Orleans’ second oldest neighborhood, Algier’s Point. The levee trail offers some truly spectacular skyline views of New Orleans, so be sure to bring your camera!
Throw on your favorite playlist, roll the windows down, and enjoy a scenic drive down Lakeshore Drive for a picture-perfect afternoon. There are several parks peppered around the Lakefront if you decide you’d like to stretch your legs, and the benches near the water are great for catching a sunset.

You've probably driven past any of the St Louis cemeteries a number of times, but have you ever thought about taking a tour? St. Louis Cemetery No. 1 is the oldest cemetery in New Orleans, and worth your time to visit. There are several notable New Orleanians buried here, including the Voodoo Queen herself, Marie Laveau. You'll need a licensed tour guide to enter the cemetery, as it has been closed to the general public for a few years now.
