When you live in a city full of incredible restaurants, it can be hard to convince you to leave the city limits for food. This one restaurant may be a 40-minute drive from New Orleans, but not only can you chow down on a hearty burger, but you can rent a canoe and paddle down the Bogue Falaya River. It’s the perfect afternoon adventure, right?
If you've ever spent any time in Baton Rouge, you're probably familiar with The Chimes Restaurant.
A cornerstone for many a LSU student's diet for decades, they've expanded in their 25 years to include a second location in Baton Rouge and their third location in Covington.
Their Covington location is nestled along the Bogue Falaya River.
