Tucked away in the Lakefront neighborhood of New Orleans, Russell’s has been an iconic little eatery since they opened their doors in 1985.
This locally owned and operated marina grill hasn’t changed much over the years, and that’s one of the reasons locals keep coming back again and again.
Their breakfast menu includes mouthwatering dishes like Eggsaints #33, pictured below. It’s a grilled biscuit with alligator sausage, grilled tomatoes, poached eggs and smothered in a homemade country gravy. Yum!
When you do visit, be sure to get one of their famous onion mums to start. Fried to a golden brown and served with their own homemade rosette sauce, these things are addictive.
There’s truly something for everyone on the menu.
From salads to club sandwiches and everything in between, the menu at Russell’s will satisfy even the pickiest of eaters.
