The One Place In New Orleans That Will Take You Straight Back In Time
There are some places that have been around New Orleans for so long that it’s hard to imagine the city without them. Mid-City Lanes Rock n Bowl is one of those institutions.

The bowling alley originally opened in 1941 under the name "Mid City Lanes". It wasn’t until John Blancher purchased it in 1988 that it became the live music venue that we know today.

They became quite popular for their zydeco music on Thursday nights, a tradition that continues today.
