With the new year coming up, a good resolution would be to try to eat somewhere new, even if it is just once a week or even once a month. 1. Atchafalaya

2. The Backyard

3. Cavan
Established in 2016, Cavan features mouth watering American cuisine in an atmosphere that will awe you. 5. Shaya

6. Cafe Luna
This charming little restaurant is the perfect place for anyone looking for a cozy little joint to grab a coffee and read a book or work remotely. 7. Muriel’s
The restaurant opened in 2001, but the building dates back to the early 1700s. It was once the home of Pierre Antoine Lepardi Jourdan who spent years transforming it into his dream home. Sadly, he lost the house in a poker game and rather than leave his dream house, he took his own life in one of the rooms. The staff has had many strange experiences in the building, and many believe that the ghost of Mr. Jourdan still roams the building. 8. Parkway Tavern

9. Shake Therapy
There are milkshakes, then there’s a milkshake by Shake Therapy. This gourmet milkshake shop serves milkshakes that look like they’re straight out of Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory. 10. Willa Jean
