There are hundreds of restaurants in the Crescent City, but how many of them make you feel like you’re one of the family? Luckily, this cozy little restaurant will make you feel right at home as you feast on some of the best Italian cuisine around, made from family recipes passed down from generation to generation. Red Gravy is one of the best restaurants in New Orleans when you’re wanting a comfortable, relaxing atmosphere to share a meal with loved ones, so let’s check it out.
Tucked away on Camp Street in the Warehouse/CBD area of New Orleans lies a hidden gem that’s about to become your new favorite restaurant.
Red Gravy was opened in 2010 by New Jersey transplant Roseann Melisi Rosetoker, who fell in love with the city decades ago and wanted to bring her culinary talents to the Big Easy.
They even have a breakfast spaghetti (pictured below) that will make you rethink everything you know about breakfast and brunch food. This hearty dish features sausage, ricotta, and their iconic red gravy with a sunny egg on top of a nest of their handmade spaghetti. Wow.
