Sunday brunch has become quite popular in the past few years, and I’m not complaining. It’s a wonderful reason to spend time with family and friends and enjoy a delightful meal (and maybe a mimosa or two). There’s one restaurant that’s a lovely spot for brunch, and you need to check it out.

Ralph’s on the Park has been a neighborhood favorite since it opened in 2003.

Located across the street from City Park, the building was built in 1860 by a French immigrant who was tending cattle in City Park. He built the building to serve as a coffee house and concessions stand for City Park.
They’re open seven days a week, and while their lunch and dinner menus are spectacular, we need to talk about their Sunday brunch menu.

They have quite the different brunch menu than you’d expect, and it’s a delightful surprise.
Of course they have the classic items, like eggs, grits, bacon, etc.

The City Park Breakfast is right up your alley if that’s what you’re in the mood for: two fried eggs, bacon, hash browns, and cheddar grits. You really can’t go wrong with this traditional breakfast/brunch item.
Their shrimp and grits are basically heaven in a bowl.
