This Delightful Restaurant In New Orleans Serves Up Brunch With A Side Of City Park Views
Sunday brunch has become quite popular in the past few years, and I’m not complaining. It’s a wonderful reason to spend time with family and friends and enjoy a delightful meal (and maybe a mimosa or two). There’s one restaurant that’s a lovely spot for brunch, and you need to check it out.

Located across the street from City Park, the building was built in 1860 by a French immigrant who was tending cattle in City Park. He built the building to serve as a coffee house and concessions stand for City Park.

They have quite the different brunch menu than you’d expect, and it’s a delightful surprise.

The City Park Breakfast is right up your alley if that’s what you’re in the mood for: two fried eggs, bacon, hash browns, and cheddar grits. You really can’t go wrong with this traditional breakfast/brunch item.

Gulf shrimp in a sherry butter sauce with shallots and sweet peppers and stone ground grits. Yum!

The views of City Park are delightful.

While their Bloody Mary’s are phenomenal, they also offer endless champagne or mimosas with Sunday brunch.

It’s the perfect way to spend a Sunday.

Sunday Brunch is served from 10:30am-2pm.
