There’s nothing better than feasting on some mouthwateringly good Mexican food. When you’re in the mood for tacos and tequila, there are endless restaurants in the city you could turn to, but none are as quirky and unexpectedly awesome as this one. Let’s check it out.
Welcome to Casa Borrega, a delightfully quirky Mexican restaurant located on Oretha Castle Haley Boulevard. You can’t miss it from the outside, just look for the antique truck parked out front.

Featuring homemade versions of Mexican street food, traditional Mexican fare, and even some hearty Tex-Mex options, you'll find yourself having a hard time deciding on what to get.
And what goes better with Mexican food than a fruity cocktail? They've quite the extensive tequila and mezcal menu, and maybe some of the best margaritas in the city.
Casa Borrega is open for lunch and dinner Tuesday through Thursday from 11 a.m. until 9:30 p.m. and 11 a.m. until 10:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturdays. They feature live music on the weekends, so be sure to check out their website for a full list of times.
