We all know breakfast is the most important day, so you want to make sure you’re starting your day off on the right foot. When it comes to breakfast, LaLou in Old Mandeville is setting themselves apart from the rest, offering an array of menu items that’s sure to satisfy anyone who walks through their doors. Let’s check it out.
You’ll find Lalou nestled in the heart of Old Mandeville, just a block away from the Lakefront.
Located within a century-old cottage, LaLou has been a neighborhood hot spot since they opened their doors in 2015. It’s one of those places where you feel like home from the moment you walk in.
Served with whipped butter and syrup, these fluffy buttermilk pancakes are some of the best in town. And they frequently have pancake specials like goat cheese and blueberry pancakes (pictured below).
If you’re in the mood for a burger, you can’t go wrong with their August Burger: an 8-ounce freshly ground patty dressed with lettuce and tomato and then topped with cheddar cheese.
No matter what you decide on, you're sure to have a memorable meal at LaLou.
