New Orleans is known for many things, and oysters is one of them. Every summer this delicious festival descents on Woldenberg Park for a full weekend of music, crafts, and all the oysters you can eat. If you’re a fan of oysters, you certainly don’t want to miss this festival.
Mark your calendars, because the New Orleans Oyster Festival takes place June 1st and 2nd this year, and you don’t want to miss it.
The festival, which debuted in 2010, aims to celebrate local restaurants and oyster farmers while helping to raise funds for coastal restoration. Every year the festival donates a portion of its proceeds to an organization that’s dedicated to saving our coast.
…to unique takes on the iconic oyster Rockefeller, you can expect all your favorite restaurants to come out for this fun festival, including Acme Oyster House, Desire Oyster Bar, Oceana Restaurant, Drago’s Felix’s, and countless others.
