Getting outside and exploring is fun, but you can work up an appetite. The Tammany Trace, Louisiana’s only rail-to-trail hiking trail, is a beautifully paved trail that will send you through Lacombe, Slidell, Mandeville, Abita Springs, and Covington and you’ll have the opportunity to explore each one as you pass through. If you find yourself at the Mandeville Trailhead, pop on over to this delightful little brewery and restaurant where you can fuel up before tackling the rest of the trail.
