When tourists come into town, they often want to know where the locals eat. You’ll never get the same answers twice, and that’s just one of the many reasons we love New Orleans. There’s one hidden gem in New Orleans that’s so well hidden, even the locals have never heard of it. Until now, that is.
Nestled on Royal Street in the heart of the French Quarter, Mona Lisa’s exterior can be easy to miss if you’re not looking for it.
In what might be the most quirky restaurant in New Orleans, the walls here are covered in various artistic expressions of the famous Mona Lisa painting. It’ll certainly make you smile!
Of course, you’ll want to start off with one of their incredible appetizers like olive tapenade, bruschetta, or their creamy spinach and artichoke dip, pictured below.
As tempting as it may be, don’t fill up on the appetizers because you’ve got a hearty entree coming your way. Delicious pastas, pizzas, and even lasagna are just a few of the tasty dishes you’ll find on the menu.
