Originally known as the Original Pierre Maspero’s Slave Exchange, the building has been a slave exchange, coffee house, and a meeting place for many historical figures.

They were known to meet up here to plan their smuggling operations. It was also the location where Andrew Jackson met up with the infamous brothers to plan their defense for the Battle of New Orleans.

The menu features many traditional Cajun and Creole classics that you’re sure to love. Pictured above are their crab cakes, which are an absolute must-try.
