The Classic New Orleans Restaurant Where You Might Have A Paranormal Encounter
New Orleans is known as the most haunted city in the country. We have numerous bars, hotels, and cemeteries where it seems like even after death, people just don’t want to leave New Orleans. If you’re a believer, then you have to find the time to head over to this one restaurant, where you just might have a paranormal encounter of your own.

This rustic restaurant opened its doors in 2011, but the history of the building goes back much further.

The building has served as Mr. Soulé’s home, an orphanage, a Sinatra-centric bar in the 60s, and a home to countless notable figures.

Both the second and third floors seem to have the most activity, with the third floor being a bit of a paranormal hotspot. Staff have reported hearing children giggling when no one is around, the feeling of being touched, and glassware flying across the bar when there aren’t any reasonable explanations.

Can you blame them?

Bring your appetite, because the portions are hearty.

Crawfish étouffée, BBQ shrimp & grits, and andouille po’boys are just some of the items you’ll find on the menu.

From bananas foster waffles to scrambled eggs, there’s something for both sweet and savory breakfast eaters here. Pictured above is their eggs Lafitte: two poached eggs on top of a buttermilk biscuit with a healthy drizzle of their unique crawfish hollandaise. Yum! This particular version also has a fried green tomato and a crab cake lumped in, which sounds amazing.
Address: 720 St. Louis Street, New Orleans, LA, 70130
