The NOLA Mac n’ Cheese Fest returns for its 3rd year on October 12, 2019 for a one super cheesy day celebrating all things mac & cheese related. The festival takes place at Louis Armstrong Park and you better come hungry.
The festival is free to enter, with food and drink tickets available for purchase, and you’re going to want to purchase some tickets once you see the restaurants involved.
All of your favorite local restaurants will be offering their spin on the classic comfort food. The Big Cheezy, Manning’s, Oceana Grill, Superior Seafood and several other eateries around town will all have a special menu centered around the star of the show: mac & cheese.
They’ll also be competing to take home the coveted "macaroni trophy" and bragging rights for most unique mac and cheese dish. Previous winners include Gonzo’s Smokehouse with their delicious Brisket mac and cheese and Superior Seafood’s incredible crawfish mac and cheese.
And of course, no New Orleans festival is complete without live music and entertainment. This fest is jam packed with local talent that you won’t want to miss.
There will also be an artist market with several local artists selling everything from cosmetics to clothing. There’ll be a variety of shopping options, which is great for getting a head start on holiday shopping.
