A home-cooked meal can turn your entire day around. Unfortunately, we don’t always have the time to fire up the kitchen and make a meal from scratch, and that’s where Mabile’s comes in. This unassuming little eatery in Laplace has been serving up some of the most mouthwatering home-cooked meals for over 30 years, and it’s easy to see why this hidden gem has been a favorite for locals looking to feast on a hearty meal without breaking the bank.
Mabile’s is a family owned and operated restaurant located less than 30 minutes away from New Orleans, in Laplace.
This casual joint has been a tradition for many since they opened their doors back in 1984. It’s one of those familiar spots where you’re bound to see someone you know when you walk in the door. Many fondly think of Mabile’s like a second home, and once you try the food, you’ll agree.
With 14 different po’boys on the menu, you’ll have a tough time deciding which one to get. Served on Leidenheimer bread and piled sky high, you better be hungry when you order one of these bad boys.
Their roast beef po’boy is legendary. It might just be the best roast beef po’boy in the town! Just remember to grab a stack of napkins before chowing down on this deliciously messy po’boy.
