The lobby of the Roosevelt hotel transforms into a Winter Wonderland that everyone should see at least once. The lighting ceremony is November 28th, and the lobby display features 44 Birch trees, over 22,00 lights, and dozens of perfectly decorated Christmas trees. More than a million twinkling lights light up Canal Street and the surrounding downtown area. The lighting ceremony was Tuesday, November 21 and will run until the first week of January. Stroll down canal or take a ride on the streetcar for a truly magical experience.

The pedestrian walkway on Fulton will be lit up with tons of lights from December 1 until December 23. Featuring daily snowfall, this is certainly worth your while. There will be live entertainment and a chance to meet Santa every Friday and Saturday evenings.
