Finding new places to cool down on a summer day in Louisiana can be tricky, but we’ve found one incredible inflatable water park that’s fun for the whole family. It’s a bit of a road trip from New Orleans, but worth every mile. Let’s check it out.

White Sands Lake Day Beach might be one of the most incredible hidden gems in southeastern Louisiana. You’ll find it tucked away in Franklinton, which is about 60 miles north of New Orleans.

It’ll take you just over an hour to get there, but we promise, it’s worth the extra effort.
It’s a picture perfect setting that’ll make you think you’re on your own little tropical getaway.

Slather on the sunscreen, sink your toes in the sand, and get ready to have a relaxing beach day.
The park is open from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m.

You’ll want to get there early so you can snag a good spot. Daily passes are only $15 for adults (12+) and $10 for kids (3-11).
Visitors are encouraged to bring their own gear which includes inflatable rafts, umbrellas, and even their own grills.

But you can also rent one of their cabanas which provide ample share, picnic tables, and charcoal grills.
