Farmers markets are a wonderful place to pick up some fresh produce while supporting local businesses. This particular farmers market has been around fifteen years, and it’s certainly worth checking out. It’s not too far from New Orleans and you can pick up just about everything you’ll need here: fruits, vegetables, meats, jams, jellies, soaps, candles, the list goes on and on. Let’s take a closer look.
Their goal was to give a platform for local farmers and vendors to reach the public directly with their merchandise and goods.

The farmers market is open every Saturday morning from 8pm-12pm at the Ormond Plantation ( 13786 River Road) and every Wednesday from 1pm-6pm at the Winnwood Shopping Center in Luling (1313 Paul Maillard Road).
