Blood and embalming fluid began seeping onto the ground behind the Greenoaks Funeral Home, located on Florida Blvd. in Baton Rouge.

The leak was apparently caused by a blockage in the funeral home’s storage tank, which is located behind the building.
The leak reportedly lasted for about 20 minutes before the it was contained.

The City of Baton Rouge Department of Environmental Services said that there was no risk of the leakage running into the city's sewer system.
