With the cooler weather (slowly) approaching, we can expect festival season to kick in, where there’s a festival practically every weekend until Mardi Gras. Each year, The National Fried Chicken Festival descends on Woldenberg Park for 3 days of finger licking good fun.

Since its humble beginnings in 2016, the festival has grown from a one-day event in Lafayette Square to a three-day festival in Woldenberg Park jam-packed with activities, live music, and all the fried chicken you could eat.

Please note: In 2023, this festival will take place on the New Orleans Lakefront along Lakeshore Drive at Franklin Ave.
This festival features multiple outdoor stages, two for music and one for cooking demos.
