If you’re trying to spend more time outdoors, consider heading across the Causeway for an afternoon spend strolling through the nature trails at the Northlake Nature Center. The Eagle Trail, in particular, features some truly scenic water views and wildlife viewing opportunities.

The Eagle Trail is a lovely little loop trail that the whole family can enjoy.
You’ll feel like you’re a million miles away from it all as you wander through the hardwood forest.
Along the way you’ll be met with some of the most stunning scenery in St. Tammany Parish.
There’s nothing like a cypress swamp view, and this trail doesn’t disappoint.
The boardwalk trail allows you to access parts of the swamps you wouldn’t be able to see otherwise. A beautiful glimpse into Louisiana’s fascinating ecosystems.
