People Drive From All Over For The Po'Boys At This Unassuming Restaurant Near New Orleans
There’s certainly no shortage of good po’boy joints around New Orleans. In fact, we just wrote about this iconic eatery that has a mouthwatering roast beef po’boy that’s finger-licking good. But this particular neighborhood restaurant is also slinging some pretty spectacular po’boys, and you need to head over to try one. Let’s check it out.

And it’s worth the drive to check them out. You can find them at 428 Jefferson Hwy., Jefferson, LA 70121.

Crabby Jack’s was opened in 2002 and has been a neighborhood favorite ever since. The quirky decor and the bright colors add a fun and inviting atmosphere that’s very similar to Jacques-Imo’s.

Piled high and dressed to impressed, like a good po’boy should be. Be sure to grab some napkins, because you’re going to need them.

Like their slow roasted duck po’boy (pictured above) or their fried green tomato and shrimp remoulade po’boy, which will turn you into a customer for life after just one bite.

And of course they also have several plate lunches and specials like fish tacos, blackened pork chops, and their classic red beans and rice with sausage.

They’re open for lunch from 10:30-3pm Monday-Wednesday, 10:30-5pm Thursday-Friday and 10:30-4pm on Saturday.
