No matter your age, the Audubon Zoo is always a good time. With thousands of animals, it’s no wonder it was voted as one of the top ten zoos in the country by USA Today. During the summer months, there’s one particular attraction that’s the perfect way to beat the heat, and you won’t want to let the summer pass by without experiencing the Cool Zoo at least once this year.
The Cool Zoo opened for the season on June 16, 2021, and is a $10 additional purchase to your Audubon Zoo ticket. There are two different sessions: 10 a.m. -1 p.m. and 2 p.m. – 5 p.m., and a separate ticket is needed for each session time, so plan accordingly. For more information, check out their website.
