While Mid-City can refer to a large swath of the city, Mid-City proper usually refers to the neighborhood bordered by City Park Ave, S. Carrollton Ave., Tulane Ave, and I-10. This area has everything you could want in a neighborhood--awesome commercial areas, two amazing grocery stores, the largest park in the city, and of course, a Streetcar so you can easily head downtown!

This historic neighborhood on the westbank is the perfect place for those looking for uptown architecture at a westbank pace of life. And of course, the views of the river are just amazing.

This sleepy neighborhood on the other side of the industrial canal is the neighborhood you should pick if you want some space to stretch out, have a garden, and retreat from the bustle of New Orleans life.

Another mid-city neighborhood that hugs the historic waterway Bayou St. John, and offers plenty of special neighborhood treasures like Rosalie Apothecary and Pal's Bar.

This small neighborhood tucked at the riverbend borders Jefferson Parish and has a number of awesome commercial streets, including Maple St. and Oak St.
