What would you do if you had 24 hours in New Orleans? It’s definitely hard to pack everything in there, but I think if you follow this itinerary with gusto, you could very well have the most New Orleans day ever. Here’s the schedule.

1) Start your day at Willa Jean, 611 O’Keefe Ave.

This delicious restaurant is a new favorite. The fresh baked goods are amazing. And the brunch/breakfast options are great too.
2) Walk around the Ogden Museum of Southern Art, 925 Camp St.

From Willa Jean, walk over to Ogden Museum. if you get there by 10am, you should pretty much have the place to yourself. It's a great way to get exposure to awesome southern art from across the region.
3) Take the St. Charles Streetcar uptown

From there, catch the St. Charles Streetcar. It's a gorgeous ride that is beautiful whatever the weather. You can soak up all of the amazing mansions along the avenue.
4) Stop off at Audubon Park, 6600 St. Charles Ave.

Hop off the streetcar and enjoy one of the most beautiful New Orleans parks. A gorgeous array of flowers always encircles the gorgeous fountain found here. Continue your walk and enjoy the bird rookery and collection of gorgeous Live Oak trees.
5) Have a Po-boy at Domilise’s, 5240 Annunciation St.

You can continue your walk through Audubon Park down Magazine St. to Domilise's. Lots of cute shops may lure you in along the way. And by the time you get to this classic Po-Boy shop, you will sure be hungry. Shrimp is my favorite.

Ready for more art? If you are exploring New Orleans, you should be. Hop in an uber and catch the sculpture garden right before dusk. It's one of the jewels of New Orleans.
8) Have Dinner Acme Oyster House, 724 Iberville St.

Next stop, dinner. So many incredible choices in the French Quarter, but Acme is definitely a favorite. The oysters are simply amazing.
9) Listen to Music at Preservation Hall, 726 St. Peter Street

If you've never been to Preservation Hall, check it out. There's always incredible live music offered here that hits the core of what New Orleans music is all about.
10) End the night at Café Du Monde, 800 Decatur St.
