But it is home to many stories and rumors--truly one of the most haunted streets in all of New Orleans.

But there are other rumors of hauntings in the alley. Another very historic home in the area is that of Faulkner House Books, where William Faulkner wrote the novel Solider's Pay. Some say that his ghost also haunts the alley.
