If there’s one thing that’s true about New Orleans, it’s that we love food. We love to eat it and we love to make it, and the amount of restaurants in the city is proof. There’s a new restaurant that just opened within City Park and it’s worthy of a visit, and the best part is that not only is it kid-friendly, but since Acorn is located in the Louisiana Children’s Museum, they’ve taken extra special care to include even the tiniest of foodies. Let’s take a closer look.
From the Sculpture Garden to the Amusement Park, there’s a lot to love about this little oasis in the heart of the Crescent City and now we have one more reason to love it.
Located in the Louisiana Children’s Museum within City Park, Acorn is one of the newest restaurants in New Orleans and they’re already off to a strong start.
The menu is full of updated versions of your favorite familiar lunch dishes. From a kicked up Caesar salad to a fried chicken sandwich, the chefs have created a menu that caters to just about everyone.
Especially kids. Since it’s located within the Children’s Museum, you can bet they took special care to cater to the younger ones. The kid’s menu is sure to delight even the pickiest of eaters, featuring all the classics like chicken tenders, hamburgers, macaroni and cheese, and more.
For more information, including a full menu and hours of operation, be sure to check out their website and follow them on Facebook.
