With an elevation of 535 feet, Mount Driskill is the highest natural summit in Louisiana. Okay sure, by any other state’s standards our mountain would be called a hill, but you know what, it’s our mountain and we take what we can get. If you’re up for an adventure, there’s a lovely little hiking trail that will lead you straight to the summit, and you’ll have some rare treetop views from the top of the trail.
Have you ever hiked to the top of Driskill Mountain? Let us know in the comments below! And if you know of a unique attraction, local restaurant, or hiking trail you think we should know about, be sure to nominate it for a chance to be featured!
