You might be surprised to learn that there’s a man-made beach in Louisiana that will have you thinking you’ve been transported to a tropical oasis, but that’s exactly what you find when you visit Cypremort Point State Park, one of the most underrated state parks in Louisiana. This beautiful beach will soon become your favorite spot to spend a summer day, but what’s even better is that you can enjoy this beach year-round, thanks to Louisiana’s mild winters!
Located at the very end of Hwy. 319 in Cypremort Point, this is one of the most unique state parks in the Pelican State.
Vermilion Bay is a popular spot for fishing and boating, and its access to the Gulf gives fishermen the option to head out to deeper waters to try to reel in record-breaking fish.
You never know what you might see! The sunset views here are one in a million, so be sure to stick around until dusk. A Cypremort sunset just hits differently!
You can also rent one of the waterfront cabins if you’d like to extend your stay! Visit the Cypremort Point State Park website for rates and availability. For more outdoor adventures, check out some of our favorite state parks in Louisiana that are delightful year-round.
