The weekend’s almost here and if you’re like many of us, you’re looking to fill your free time with spectacular plans. You might remember that not too long ago we featured one of our favorite train rides that takes you through New Orleans City Park. But did you also know that there’s another train-themed attraction here that will absolutely charm you?
Hidden away within the Botanical Garden of City Park, there's a train garden that's completely magical.
Each stop along the train's route gives you the chance to learn more about the city, with informational signs explaining landmarks you're seeing right before you.
While you can stop in to see the fairytale attraction whenever the Botanical Garden is open, the actual trains only operate on Saturdays and Sundays. From the Garden District to historic homes, cemeteries and well-known buildings, you'll be able to see The Big Easy replicated in a way like never before. How to get here: 5 Victory Avenue New Orleans, LA 70119
To get a glimpse of what it’s like to see these historic trains operating throughout the garden, watch the wonderful footage provided by DobbaHenderson via Youtube below!
