When most Louisianans want to spend a day on the beach, they’ll usually head over to our neighbor a few states down to enjoy the Floridian beaches, but did you know there’s a picture-perfect beach in Louisiana? No, we’re not talking about Holly Beach or Grand Isle…although those beaches are beautiful, too. This one is a little bit more hidden, which makes it so much more special.
Cypremort Point State Park isn't exactly a park that you just accidentally stumble across.
It's located in a pretty remote part of Louisiana, and the drive to get to it will make you question if you're heading in the right direction. Trust us, you are.
Located along Vermilion Bay, Cypremort Point's stretch of beach gives off major tropical vibes.
For cabin rentals, visit the Louisiana State Park website. Once you get a taste of Cypremort Point State Park’s beach, you’ll be hooked. Check out Holly Beach for even more Louisiana beach adventures. And at Holly Beach, you can drive right onto the beach!
