Logansport is a tiny little town in DeSoto Parish right on the Texas/Louisiana state line. Since U.S. 84 runs right through it, many folks drive through Logansport either on their way to explore the Lone Star State or Louisiana. As you’re passing through, there’s one restaurant in Logansport, Louisiana that’s worth pumping the brakes for, and that’s Big Zach’s Place.
Big Zach’s Place is only about two miles away from Texas, and it’s a welcome sight for hungry travelers.
This rustic joint is decorated with historic photos of the area, and despite being a stone’s throw away from Texas, Big Zach’s Place is full of Louisiana-inspired dishes that you’re sure to love.
Seafood and steaks pepper the menu here, with everything from familiar favorites like crawfish étouffée, seafood gumbo, and shrimp and grits being some of the most popular dishes here.
They're closed Sundays and Mondays, so keep that in mind on your travels!
